The interactive health and wellness event was sponsored by ChapCare and featured fun, exciting games and fitness competitions.
“We are so excited to be here at Miramonte today to reinforce the importance of being fit and healthy,” said Sparks’ Street Team members. “You only have one body so you need to take care of it. You are lucky to be attending a school that values good health and nutrition and you have an amazing program here and we applaud your efforts. The Sparks are champions because the ladies work hard on and off the court and we encourage you to do the same.”
Sparky, the team’s dog mascot danced and played games with the students and was a highlight of the event.
“Sparky is so funny and it was fun to exercise with him,” said a fifth grader who completed 17 squats alongside Sparky and a few classmates.
