Students at Baker School had a blast at the recent game-filled Fall Festival which kicked off the school's "Game Changer" Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) theme for the school year.

Students enjoyed a fun morning of music, games, and prizes and were encouraged to be positive game changers with their words, behavior, actions, effort, attitude and choices.

“Our Fall Festival was a success thanks to the team effort of our Baker staff who provided a memorable experience for our students,” said Leticia McCorkle, Principal.

“At Baker our team of teachers and support staff nurture a culture of fairness, love, and caring, all focused on the goal of providing a positive learning environment.   We are committed to creating a sense of connectedness and belonging on our campus for all of our Baker Chargers,”  she added.

Through PBIS and Baker’s schoolwide Behavior Matrix which is posted throughout the campus, students know the behavior expectations for every area of the school including the playground, hallways, bathroom, cafeteria and classroom and strive to be responsible, respectful and safe.
