Be a part of the Mountain View School District family!  Enrollment for the District’s full day Kindergarten and full day Transitional Kindergarten (TK) is underway for the 2022-2023 school year.

Children who will be five years old on or before September 1, 2022, are invited to enroll in MVSD’s outstanding full day kindergarten program.

Children turning five years old between September 2, 2022 and March 2, 2023 are invited to enroll in the District’s full day Transitional Kindergarten (TK) program. TK is a bridge between preschool and kindergarten and gives young learners a head start, providing them an opportunity to learn and grow in an environment that is tailored to meet their academic and social needs.

MVSD’s Kindergarten and Transitional Kindergarten classes provide educational, instructional and social

emotional programs to help students develop the skills necessary to achieve academic and social success.

Classrooms are designed to help children grow and progress as individuals who can think and do for themselves.

“Our Kindergarten and TK students learn and develop in a safe and caring environment and throughout the school year, our highly qualified teachers guide students through a variety of learning activities and experiences with a curriculum focusing on the whole child,” said Raymond Andry, Superintendent.

Mountain View School District is proud to have exceptional early literacy programs, extensive technology learning programs including in school 1:1 technology devices, Spanish Dual Language Immersion Programs at Parkview and Payne Schools, a Mandarin Enrichment Program at Twin Lakes School, a school-wide uniform policy, clean, safe and secure schools, a nationally recognized family engagement program, a college-bound culture, free breakfast and lunch programs, free bus transportation for those beyond walking distance from their school, and excellent after school care and instructional support offered through the THINK Together program.
